She's here! She's here! Our beautiful daughter is finally here! Weighing in at 7 pounds and 3 ounces and measuring at 20 inches she is a little piece of perfection. I spent my few days in the hospital taking lots of pictures (and even setting up the timer so I could be in some as well).
I am taking my time to heal from surgery, but will be back to work in April after the doctor clears me for duty. Until then I am going to soak up the love with my hubby and our littles and enjoy time focusing on our family.
I honestly don't know how bloggers find the time to post everyday. Especially the Mommy bloggers out there! Where do you find the time? My little one is too aware of the fact that Momma has slipped away into the office and is focused on something else.
I've decided to take a look back at the year 2012 and all that has happened. This is the year that I took a big leap and decided to quit my job of ten years to be a full time Mom and focus a little more on getting my photography business off the ground. It's been a wonderful year! So I've decided to take a glimpse back at all that has happened this year and do a "year in review" in pictures over the next few weeks (in no particular order).
When I came up with the "Wonderful Life" theme for the next few weeks of posts I knew that the first entry would have to be about something truly amazing, the birth of my nephew Jaxson William. I was up with my sister and her husband all night waiting for the little guy to arrive and when he did it was awesome. I am forever grateful that my sister and brother-in-law allowed me to share that very speial moment of their lives with them (and let me take pictures of everything too!)
Hi, I'm Melissa. I am a wife, mother, step-mother, Gigi (step-grandma) and a photographer. I started out as the family member always asked to bring my camera along and it has turned into my life dream. I just love being able to capture moments for others that they can always cherish. This is my little corner to share my sessions, projects, and a little piece of our daily life. Thanks for stopping by!
