The day set record high temperatures in the California Central Valley (over 110 degrees!) but it was a beautiful ceremony filled with love, family, and smiles. The venue is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the views from the ceremony site were gorgeous.
This day was special in so many ways- it would have been the bride's maternal grandparents' 50th anniversary and the whole day was about family- the bride's Uncle officiated, and her stepfather and father walked her into the ceremony. Many of her siblings (and one of the groom's) and her cousins made up the wedding party. The groom's family traveled from Texas to be a part of the big day. Huge congratulations to Kaitlin and William!

When I initially met Marc and Brittany they stressed that they wanted their day documented with as many candid moments as possible. As someone that loves documentary type of work, I was over the moon for this opportunity and couldn't wait for their big day. They exchanged vows at the beautiful Nonini Winery in Fresno County and it couldn't have been a more perfect day. Both the bride's and groom's families were so wonderful and genuine and the entire day was about the blending of two families. Congratulations to the Armstrongs!
Film shot with Portra 400 and 160 on Mamiya 645, developed and scanned by Pro Photo Connections Another beautiful event by Laura Ferrick of Eclectic Affairs! The Historic Millerton Courthouse at Millerton Lake was a gorgeous backdrop for a relaxed wedding and reception.
A beautiful service blending together two families. The bride sang to her groom as a surprise to him as she walked down the aisle. The pair of them teased and kidded each other through the evening and old friends became husband and wife, making their two families into one. Thank you to Krista and Danny for allowing me to capture your love and this very special day. Congratulations!
On a beautiful day in November, Victor and Michele said their vows and blended two families into one. The rain the night before gave us a beautiful sky and light to usher in their new life. Congrats to the happy family and a lifetime of blessings for all of you!
August was an especially wonderful and proud month. Our oldest married his college sweetheart in a beautiful ceremony (and his Dad officiated!) in Irvine, Ca. During the ceremony a special emphasis was put on family, flowers were given to the father of the bride, mother of the groom, and me the stepmother of the groom. Such an amazing feeling to be part of the family that I have. I was so blessed that when I married my husband in 2010 that our boys (technically his sons) welcomed me into the family with open arms. I am also so thankful that they put up with me constantly photographing our lives together. I was a guest at the wedding, but that didn't stop me from snapping away to capture the day from my point of view. And it was a beautiful day! Congratulations to David and Alicia!!
