We are lucky enough to live within hours of Yosemite National Park. Over the holiday weekend I made a picnic lunch and we took our little guy for his first trip to the park. He had so much fun discovering new things. His Dad came home with a pocketful of "treasures" that were picked up along the way. If you can take a trip soon I highly recommend it. The fall colors are gorgeous! 
I love my job for many reasons; no set dress code, I can control my work hours, I can edit in my pj's, I don't get in trouble for having a glass of wine while I'm returning emails and editing in the evening... the list goes and on. But what I enjoy the most are the people I meet, the friendships I make, and old friends that I get a chance to see once again. I had the pleasure of seeing a former high school team mate and his family this last weekend. We wandered around the local community college and had lots of fun.
