It's been an amazing year for my little photography business. To my clients, thank you for letting me capture your memories! You have allowed my to bring my dream to life and for that I am forever grateful. Here is a selection of some of my favorites... coming soon will be The Best of 2013- part two with my personal favorites for the year.

I knew this day would come, but why did it have to come so fast? My son's golden locks are just a memory. At two years old his hair had just gotten too long for him. I saw him fidget with it because it was on his neck and in his eyes.As much as I loved those curls I knew it was time to get them trimmed. People were surprised that my husband- a military vet- had allowed his son's hair to be so long. But just like me, he was holding onto those last days of our little boy being a baby.... Many thanks to the ever so patient hairdresser that got us all through this! Waiting his turn for a haircut Putting up a fight right from the start... Momma brought a sucker to try to pacify him through the trauma Asking a 2 year old to sit still is one thing; but then pulling at his hair and using scissors so close is another. Bye-bye goldilocks... As good as it's gonna get this time. Not a clean cut, but not too shabby for a wiggle-worm!
My baby sister has been trying to get a family photo since her little guy was born. We finally made some time to get together over the weekend. The kids,Madison and Jaxson, were in great moods. In fact, Jaxson was a huge ham!
I was so happy we could squeeze this session in this year. Cheryl, Josh and I have cousins in common, so we grew up seeing each other at family gatherings. I was so excited to meet their families and capture memories for all of them. Thanks for making the drive to meet me, I hope you love your images as much as I do!
Thirteen years ago this beautiful girl came into my life. Her Mom, my cousin, chose me to be one of her godmother's (she has two). I have been so blessed to watch her grow up before my eyes. She is smart, she is funny, and so much more. Happy belated birthday, Kaiti-bug, I'm glad we finally were able to get this session in. With Love, Auntie Liss
The biggest compliment for me is repeat clients. I loved meeting the entire Villa family for this session. The kids were so much fun! We had an impromptu lesson on smiling for one of them and they thought it would be lots of fun to climb the trees. Thank you to the Villa family for braving the cold weather to get your session in this year!
Saturday was beautiful... beautiful and COLD! The Delgado family braved the elements for a quick family session. Many thanks to Ana, John and Abigail for being such great sports in the cool weather! I loved seeing the girls again (and meeting John).
Time really does fly by. When I moved back to California in 2000, Dominic was just five years old. Now, he is in his Senior year of high school and making plans for college. I am so incredibly proud of the person he has become.
