On a beautiful day in November, Victor and Michele said their vows and blended two families into one. The rain the night before gave us a beautiful sky and light to usher in their new life. Congrats to the happy family and a lifetime of blessings for all of you!

It was so wonderful to see the Alcala's again this year. The most wonderful thing about my photography business is the ability to reconnect with old friends and watch their families grow. Since I last saw the Alcala's, Nicky has lost a couple of teeth and Gabriel is now walking (running actually!). Our session at Woodward Park was fun and relaxing. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these moments.
Last year at this time Liz and Mitch had their maternity session. They thought it would be fun to have some family portraits a year later at the same location, Single Palm Pumpkin Patch. Little Victoria had lots of fun playing in the dirt and discovering the pumpkins.
I love Senior shoots. We always have fun. I met up with Aly, her Mom and her best friend, Jackie, at Woodward Park during a beautiful golden evening recently for her senior session. The girls share a special bond- they have been best friends since the age of four and plan to walk together at graduation (much like my best friend and I did so many years ago.) The results of her session are as lovely as she is (both inside and out).
Such an exciting time for our family! My cousin Michele is getting married and blending her family with her fiance's. We met up in Visalia with the entire crew to get some pictures of the couple and the family for their invitations and to celebrate two families becoming one. Congratulations you two, I can't wait for the wedding!
Such a beautiful family! I met up with the Garnier's at Woodward Park during the golden hour and captured the loveliness below...
I know I mention this quite a bit, but I am ever so thankful for my photography business because of the friendships that have come out of it. This past weekend I was excited to see a former classmate from high school and meet his beautiful family. The boys are adorable... Gabriel didn't mind when I held him so everyone could get situated and Nicky even gave me a big hug goodbye. Working with people like the Alcala's makes my heart happy!
Earlier this week I finally ordered a print that I had been thinking about for the last six months. I kept putting it off unsure if it was "the one" I wanted, this all changed when I had the picture up on the computer and my husband mentioned that it was one of his favorites of our son. That cemented it and I'm now (impatiently) waiting for the 20x24 to get here! Having your images on your computer or a CD/DVD is great, but they really were meant to be printed and placed in your home. Would you buy art just to keep it hidden in a closet? Of course not! Portraits are art! So I'm telling you right now... go print out your pictures and enjoy them on a daily basis. If you are a previous client I have a wonderful professional lab and I would be happy to help you. My lab has many options for you to choose from: glossy, matte, metallic, and linen papers or you could choose to order a canvas. Why would you want a professional lab? Because the lab I use stays true to the colors (some of the labs at chain store labs add tones that make skin appear to have an orange or green tint). I offer print packages or you can order them a la carte. Whether you choose to order your prints through me or go out on your own to do it, please just print them. You won't be sorry!
It's been an amazing year for my little photography business. To my clients, thank you for letting me capture your memories! You have allowed my to bring my dream to life and for that I am forever grateful. Here is a selection of some of my favorites... coming soon will be The Best of 2013- part two with my personal favorites for the year.
My baby sister has been trying to get a family photo since her little guy was born. We finally made some time to get together over the weekend. The kids,Madison and Jaxson, were in great moods. In fact, Jaxson was a huge ham!
